Molly Hankinson unveils new Mural for Glasgow Vegan Street Food Legends Freddy & Hicks

Freddy & Hicks are well known and loved on the Glasgow Street Food Scene for their huge vegan burgers which will impress even the most dedicated carnivore and after recently opening their first premises in the SouthSide of Glasgow they were faced with some pretty big white walls - this is when they gave their friend and Business Collective Scotland member Molly Hankinson a call.

Now Freddy & Hicks have a wall to celebrate and one that is true to their unique brand of street food. Molly's work is bright, loud and full of strong womxn - perfect for the womxn led vegan brand, having done smaller pieces of work for them in the past including menu and signage Molly was an obvious choice for Freddy & Hicks for this huge mural.

'The mural came from an original illustration I had previously made for Freddy & Hicks. It feels amazing to have been given the opportunity to see my work on this scale for the first time, I’m so happy with how it turned out and I’m already looking forward to my next large-scale piece which I am already planning. For me I found such a satisfying balance with this piece between my oil paintings and my illustrative work which I can’t wait to explore further in my own practice.' Molly
